RPI Designs

New to the Camaro 5 website. Found it by googling Rpi designs, registered just so I could get some feedback and tell the issues I have with them. I called them this morning to check turnaround time for Christmas. They had the item in stock and said would make it in plenty of time. Found around 6 other items(non painted) to order. Well tried calling them back 5 different times. I thought that was quite weird so did a quick search and came up with this website. Don't want to order around 2k worth items and not be able to keep in touch. Is this about what is expected from them? I read that they are hit and miss on another post.
Any further input on them is greatly appreciated. I see they post here quite often, but seems they have some phone issues.

I didn't have any issues. I know some others have though.

Depends on what you order i guess. Several people with non painted parts got things quickly. Some with painted parts including myself it took forever. This would not normally be an issue but, it appears the standard timeline given is two weeks when it has repeatedly taken far longer. 6 1/2 for me.

I would buy from them again and the parts I received were excellent. Patience is necessary when ordering painted parts from any vendor.

If you can't wait and need constant status of your parts, I would suggest buying the bare parts and have them painted locally. I am sure you local body shop would be glad to have you calling them every day. Also, most local places will not communicate with you via PMs or e-mail.

Personally, I would rather have quality work done and wait, but that is just me.

NEVER AGAIN! Communication, accurate time frames and common business practices like answering the phone and updating order status come to mind when ordering parts are just as important as patience. Local body shop wouldnt take a month either. horrendous experience

Communication was poor as I pm'd a few times with no responce the last couple times but I did get what I ordered and must say it looks good so far. I think if they had someone with good customer service skills they would make A LOT more $ as the product seems good.
