They picked it up on 11/23, so thanksgiving cost us some time. It could be just that I'm excited to get it back. I want to drive it once before the snow flys. |

I'm sure they are close if it just needs to go on the dyno. I'm sure you will get it back this coming week. Post you results...

Your car sounds just like my cammed 05 GTO with Kooks headers and Corsa Sport exhaust. In other words it sounds real good (but loud). My neighbors weren't so happy at 6am every morning on cold start ups. I ended up having to tame it down a bit to make them happy. I ened up switching over to the Touring exhaust. It still sounded great, but a little less explosive on cold start ups.

It is loud but I don't start it early in the morning so my neighbors have not complained. Plus both of my immediate neighbors are car guys... |

I got the call this evening, it is done and will be delivered tommorrow night. The delivery driver called so I was not able to get results yet. It sounds like we are going to get hit by heavy rain the next couple days so it will just sit and wait for sunshine.

+1 for the trailing arms and cradle bushings. You'll be on the border of being able to do bushing inserts instead of the full bushing.
Personally, I would look at installing the Pedders Stage 1 street kit (craddle bushing inserts and radius rod inserts). I had the Energy Suspension inserts which are the same design as BMR's. I personally didn't like how they installed. Pedders are a much better design along with a stronger poly IMO. I did a thread where I showed the difference in the two inserts. Energy were a lot less but in this case you get what you pay for. Without trailing arms and bone stock I had tons of wheel hop at the track. A set of TAs fixed that right up. Even after adding headers/tune I've beaten other Camaros with the same setup and more just because they couldn't hook and I could. One was the same setup and within a few HP of each other. I beat him by a full second. Other guy was mostly stock but with an Edelbrock supercharger and 21" wheels. Beat him by just over a second. He had more HP than me but no suspension work. All that HP doesn't do you any good if you can't put it to the ground.

They results are in. Not quite what I was expecting. They are telling me the converter eats up about 20 HP on the dyno, does that sound right?
My mods are LT headers, HF cats, ls3 conv, roto fab CAI, stock cat back, 2r cam 235/242 608/613 114 lsa, 3000 stall, What do you think? |

That looks about right for a dyno jet, but they're a little on the low side. With a higher stall you'll probably put down even more, try 3200. Just a question though. How are you able to run a cam that size? I thought the biggest we could run without having to cut reliefs in the pistons was a 231/236 cam?
Also, the 114 LSA explains such low torque.

Wait, I just re-read your mods. First of all, a new cat back would probably give you a few more hp. And secondly, and most importantly, with cam that size you really should have considered 1) porting the heads, 2) getting a FAST 102 intake, and 3) a NW 102 TB. Without some serious increase in induction, you're really not making use of the cam's higher lift.

They told me an aftermarket converter would make it read 20 hp less than the stock the one.

I have no clue how a stall affects dyno numbers, hopefully someone can chime in.
