I was sent that link yesterday and wanted to comment, but I don't have a Twitter account, and it wasn't worth creating one just to mess with those kids.

I got an iPad for Christmas and fully realize how blessed I am that my parents gave it to me. I know others aren't as fortunate and I try to pay it forward-- this year I paid off someone's layaway at Wal-Mart even though it made money a little tight for me. I was horrified when I saw this page yesterday. What truly scares me is that this generation will be taking care of my generation in 50 years... :(

Our society is CRAP. We live in a spoon fed infants world. For me, around Y2K is when it seems things really started to change, and every year since then has just gotten worse. I really noticed it during my military career. There is a night and day difference in the quality of people coming in the military these days. In my first 10 years we were always looking out for the few bad apples. In my last 10 years we were always looking for the few good ones out of all the others. Kids are not held responsible for their actions anymore at home or in school.

I saw this the other day too.. Then out of curiosity I looked him up on twitter.. He got a lot of crap about it and responded to a lot of people saying he was grateful for the camaro and ipad but he's in the military and has been away from family for 3 years.. I'm pretty sure thats what I remember reading on there anyway. Now I don't know how true that is but I felt he deserved a to have his side of that posted up as well.

No they're not.

These are the people that won't get anywhere in life...our future leaders are the ones that don't have asinine websites dedicated to their immaturity and selfishness.

The only depressing part for me is that these people actually exist....

A little melodramatic, don't you think? If other countries hate us...it's for a bigger reason that some snot kid complaining about not getting an ipad for Christmas...

Folks...something to think about, maybe...

They say the "squeaky wheel gets the grease". There's also a phrase thrown around often: "The vocal minority"...

This is a perfect example of those things. I do not believe these examples of spoiled children are the majority of young people growing up today. I do not believe that these kids will have much influence on our future. I do not believe that 100% of those posts are truthful. And finally, I do not believe that all of those people will forever be spoiled rotten...many of them will grow up...it'll take a while, but they will.

I caution you not to read this garbage and get upset with what appears to be the younger generation; our future. It is not these people. Please do not dismiss younger people, and walk away with your hands in the air, because of what you perceive after reading these messages...they need guidance from those with the experience. Be patient...do not lose faith in your successors.

Maybe I'm getting a little too deep...but I'm reading too many ominous, and depressing posts that I just don't feel are hitting the mark...fwiw.....

i saw this on gizmodo.com the other day. I'm shocked to see so many youths say they hate their parents because they didn't get a phone or ipad. I would never bash my parents for that, but then again i was raised with class and value my family over my gadgets. Bunch of schmucks, get a damn job.
