ya i would stay away from racing G37 or 370zs for that matter. you guys both have v6s with over 300HP but the camaros weigh to much and need over400HP and 400 TQ to do win some races.

With some bolt ons it could beat the stock Convertible G37, full bolt ons a V6 should be able to take a stock G37 coupe(which weighs 300 lbs more than sedan and usually gets .2-.3 slower through the 1/4 mile).

A 330hp car with a 7spd auto gearbox? You realize the camaro still weighs 100-150lbs more?

With "some bolt ons" the camaro may have a "fighting chance", but the camaro is the heavier/lower-powered car to start with and with a gearing disadvantage it would take a whole hell of a lot of "bolt ons" to bring that back.

The G37 coupe is within 100lbs of the G37 sedan. Not 300lbs. I don't see a bolt on V6 trapping 105mph.

Look at the bright side, your car is still sexier than a G37

My all time fastest times have been using D (Drive) though (TC off).

Now using M (manual - tap shifting the gears myself), I won't even try it at the track. My car gets to the 1-2 shift so fast that its impossible to make a clean shift. The computer does a much better job.

You really can't go wrong just using D with TC off. Some of the fastest times in this forum (stock and modded) have been done using this method.

Just focus on getting a good 60' time and you'll run a fast 1/4 mile time whether you're using D or M.

i believe there are 3 v6 camaros that have trapped 105-106 with boltons and a tune on here and i should hit that to judging by what people have told me so its not un heard of for us to hit 105mph

Scrming – Where did you get this list? These are some really interesting details. We couldn’t help but notice that the highest trap speed at 104.07 was bmorecam’s car with Flowmaster exhaust. That’s pretty cool! Thanks for sharing!
