bmorecam - look at the picture of the GM brace I posted.....you would have to imagine it, but take the cover out of that picture and you have more than an inch of room underneath that brace.

From what I have seen on the BMR and Pfadt setups, the brace sits higher than the GM brace.

blade, it does look like it will work right? I wish I can see the gm strut from a different angle and see where the highest point of the bar line up to.

looks like it should fit but MIGHT be a little close. would it be possible to put a shim/or welded plate where it bots to the strut tower, say 1/4" if it did rub?

edit...

FYI: it depends on what year you have...as the OEM strut brace won't fit the 2010 and early 2011 without adapters...which seems to be in a stalemate due to patents pending between 2 machine shops.

PFADT used washers to clear a MAGGIE for their brace on a V8 ... http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...=150811&page=8

just got done reading this whole thread for the first time. lol

everything sounds great. would still like to see another dyno comparison to clear up the top end power, but i'm 99% sure this is my next mod. Should be ordering the 25mm within the next week or two.

oh, and a diy would be great, and/or if there are good detailed instructions, if someone can post pics of that, that would be great.

Ok, I am very close on pulling the trigger on this but I am hesitant because I am unsure whether I should wait what Tracy will have. What do you guys think? They are making one of these if Im not mistaken.
