Why would you want the ignition key to open the gas cap? That means you would have to actually shut the car off to fill up or carry your spare key all the time.

I always shut my car off when filling up.

I 100% agree. Don't most new cars have screen to stop thief's from sticking a tube down the filler? I don't want people dumping shit inside is my worry.

Yep. I mean - what would you do if someone pissed in your gas tank? You'd be pretty pissed about it.
