It's almost like they are taking the standard items and copying the same over to the GT500, that would normally have to pay extra for. Don't forget they have $6,000 to use until they reach the ZL1 price from the current car. Like I've said in previous threads, they have probably been taking quite the profit margin on the recent GT500's considering it hasn't had a full makeover in years and they don't have a direct competitor to undercut. The gt500 will probably be within a few thousand of the zl1 in either direction.

not just in Canada...I bet anyone, Galpin Ford in SoCal will have a $25k mark up on it. I tried to buy a 2007 GT500 there in 2007 and they were marked up $30k!!!

Pricing is up on Ford.com. 54200 for the base coupe. It will cost you another 3500 for the performance pack (suspension and wheels).

I figured it wouldn't come down to a big price gap. Both the ZL1 and GT500 will offer incredible performance. I really don't think you could go wrong with either. I just wish IOM was closer to Hugger Orange!
