Here's a few pictures of mine. I sanded the casting seem that runs down each side of the unit. I painted the unit in a satin black finish and got rid of the Logo. Oh, and I love the unit!

IMHO that's the way it should have looked from the factory, Nathan. They should have put a stick on logo so you could take it off easily. Your modded Vararam looks factory and a little stealthy to those uninformed Mustang guys who want to know what you got!!!

I agree. I also like the coupler and PCV connection he has.

I didn't even notice his coupler...you're right, that is nice. I hope he will tell us where he got it. The Vararam coupler is really a piece of crap IMO.

Looks like a length of black tubing and T bolt clamps. Massive overkill for the use but does look better than worm clamps. I'm thinking they run around $8/each for the size you need.

I have a few of those clamps that I bought from frozenboost. His PCV connection is great though.

OK - finally got the Vararam installed and here are the pictures I promised. Still need to do a "dress-up" of that radiator bolt area. Gonna move/tilt the PVC hose to 10 o'clock as well and shorten it. Need to cover it in braided hose to match my RX Catch Can.

Wanted to dress front of it up a little bit. I wanted to put "SUCK IT!" on the front, but the Vararam really doesn't suck air. So I went with "RAM IT!" in a metallic dark red that I sanded until it faded a bit. Looks really cool in the sun.

Made the engine cover myself as well....

Looks great!

Sooo...how much for this service? I'd need it done in Synergy Green Metallic.

Very NICE! I like the font you used for the letters. I bet it was a LOT more work than you first imagined. I know it was for me, LOL. I like what you did with the catch can also. Do you have any pictures without the cover to see how you ran the lines?

Thanks,

Nathan

It not that difficult that you have to wrestle with it I guess I've have mine on anf off so many times that it's not a big deal to me any more.

How often does the filter need to be oiled? How often does it need to be replaced?
