To GM: THANK YOU!!! For taking the time to make sure they are right before they ship. The time I waited for my 2SS was well worth it, the only (very minor) issue I had was the one nut that came off the rear spoiler into the trunk lid. In 2.5 years, I haven't had a single mechanical issue with the car. I don't want to trade this one in, but I just got to have the mighty ZL1 (At 3000) and I want it to be as reliable as the one I have so take your time.

there have been multiple pics posted on Camaro 5 of cars with both the satin black finish (standard) or the B92 Carbon Fiber clear coated stripes.....

THERE IS NO ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM -

THERE IS ALWAYS A DELAY IN SHIPPING CARS ONCE WE START A NEW MODEL.

Now - I don't mean to belittle anyone - but please - we've been very forthright in all of our communications to the dealers and to those on this site- (and those messages have been posted on this site) that we would be most likely shipping cars in late February or early March.

it is not late February or early March yet.
FBodfather, you are right. My apologies for asking a question that was unfair and raises undue concerns as all representations have said shipping wouldnt happen until the end of feb or early march. You are right that all is on schedule and like I said I am just happy that Chevy is ensuring that all is well with these amazing cars before they all ship. I am looking forward to this car being in my life for decades. Thanks for offering us the info that you can, when you can.

Scott - The fine line you walk is appreciated. These sites are a blessing and a curse. I find your communications to be very helpful. Thank you. Keep up the good work. The Camaro is a fine automobile and I am patiently waiting for my ZL1 (my third 5th gen in 3 years)

Our Canadian ZL1 brothers and sisters are seriously disappointing me. Not only is there a new IOM ZL1 show car that no other show has seen, it also has the gray stripe that many have been eagerly awaiting to see. With that said, all we have gotten is one camera phone shot of the front.

Come on guys, step your games up

Geez do i gotta be the only Canadian memeber to get these ZL1 photos out there ?? LOL
Excellent! Now on Wednesday bring your good camera and eat ten onions for breakfast. That way a good fart beside the car should clear everyone out of the way for the pictures.

This picture looks light anyway.. but that stripe really looks light.

The exposed / IOM setup does have me second guessing my decision for black, but I think the stripe would be a no-go. Need more pictures, please.

Yep, I saw the car at the show and the stripe looks terrible. Otherwise though, the car is killer! You can really notice how wide the wheels are when you look at it from the rear. The only other thing I'm not thrilled with is the fake suede inserts in the seats. I'd prefer leather...

Ill take hi-res shots when i go on wednesday. I didnt have my camera at the time because it was too busy as expected. but the stripe looks like crap and the fact that the stripe is only on the trunk and not on the roof, makes it look half ass'd.
