I'll sell everything I own, including my house, before I stop driving my Camaro due to high gas prices.

And I remember one spring seeing the price go up at least 50 cents a gallon (first time it topped $1/gal.) Seems like it went up every time the school bus drove past the 7-Eleven. None of the gas stations had 3 digit signs, so most listed the price by the half-gallon. I also remember we had a 'loyalty sticker' on our family car. Only cars with a sticker could fill up at that particular station. Cars without the sticker were limited to a certain amount. This was during the Iran hostage crisis, iirc.

My camaro gets better mpg then my DD (Trailblazer SS

)....so I have an excuse to drive it MORE!

I can't wait until spring comes so I can drive mine again. I have been driving my 2011 Tahoe LTZ and I'm lucky if I get 12 MPG in town with it. I think I average around 14 MPG in my SS with a supercharger. I'm not worried because I just got my new headers and cold air intake in the mail yesterday and when I put them on I will get alot better MPG. LOL I don't care what gas cost. I will never not drive my Camaro because of the price of gas.

i don't drive that much because i work nearby where i live, so i am not really concerned about it. i almost always spend right at $50 every 2 weeks no matter the price of gas. it's almost like i drive based on the amount of fuel in my car involuntarily knowing i only have a tank ration per 2 weeks.

Right now in eastern Massachusettes 87 is going for $3.63 / gal and 93 is going for $3.93 to $4.02 / gal...the prediction is for $5.00 / gal for 87 by spring..so what will 93 be ? $6 +

My Camaro is a limited use car anyway but I will drive it as planned to car shows and cruise nights..ice cream runs .but not everyday ..weekend warrior mostly ..

Not only am I going to continue to drive my Camaro as my DD, but I am looking forward to the high gas prices knocking some of the congestion off the roads.

Im going to drive my camaro because of higher gas prices....30mpg for the camaro, or 18 for the silverado.

I know, why worry about it if you can afford a Camaro? Some of us don't like to give our money away on fuel if they can drive something else that is same distance, same speed at a lower cost in our pockets.

What is your price per gallon/liter?
