I have noticed that sometimes my car feels like it has more power. Some days it feels like a beast. Other days it seems a little less beastly. Maybe its all in my head. But it sure seems like the power varies.
The other thing I noticed was that the power seemed to really kick in after about 5,000 miles.

Hesitation is present on my car even after tune. The car is deciding what to do in response to how you hit the gas. My car for instance will down shift but it takes a minute. Put it in S and tap into the gear you want and hesitation is gone. Also something else that effects response in turning is stabilitrak remember even though traction control is off that is not stabilitrak if there is a chance of the car getting sidewides in turn it may be hesitating to keep from breaking loose. I think the hesitation is going to be present with most autos with tuning being least noticable but still present.

A bottle of dry gas in the tank before you do anything.

I have the exact same thing. some days it's amazing and some make me want to stop at the side of the road and leave it.

I have this same issue. Happened to me twice so far in 2 weeks. I have noticed it after installing an Injen Power Force CAI. It happened after I hit the gas a little harder than I usually do.

I do not think this is your core problem, but I have the ported and polished throttle body and it really seemed to help with the throttle response.
Your issue seems like it can be corrected with a good tune.

I just got my car tuned 2 days ago. Did a few round at the track and everything went good. On the way back i noticed that the car was hesitating a little bit at normal driving speeds. RPM's were probably around 2100 most of the way. No check engine light came on or anything. Dont know what could be causing this. Any ideas? going to do a fuse pull tonight and see how it goes tomorrow...
