Test drove an SS today!

I took my car in today, to have the dealer fix something for me. While waiting I took an SS out for a test drive. It really kicks you back in your seat. unfortunately when I purchased my car the SS was out of my price range, however, they had Certified Preowned 2010, still under factory warranty, that was in my price range. What do you think, my LS only has 1400 miles on it, is it to soon to upgrade, or should I wait until I can afford a Brand New SS?

If you can keep the payments around the same I'd say do it and you won't look back.

You will take a big hit in depreciation on your 1200 mile LS.

Tough one. How low can they get the SS down to and how much will they give you for your LS?

Same payments are meaningless if the contract is extended with higher interest rates.
Salespeople can always promise "same payments", just make payments for additional two years and add $10,000 to the contract.

Try to sell your car yourself. You will get more for it that way. Take the extra money you get selling it yourself then get a new SS. Good luck buddy!!!

Sorry, Next time I will be more specific for you. I didn't realize you needed me to say, "around the same payments and that would include interest and number of years around the same as well", cause to me it means the same ...... thing.

I am not sure exactly how the certified pre owned cars warranties work, but if the car is a 2010 and was made in 2009, the factory 3 year bumper to bumper may be close to expiring. Just somethin to think about.

Does not matter when it was made.... it's the In Service date that starts the Warranty.

These decisions are left to the heart.
