My son caught the ironicness(?) of it, her 45th birthday and a 45th anniv Camaro!

(Had previously sold they 30th Anniv Convertible that she claimed!)

Her Car was "born" on her late horses birthday so that was good also, it came really close to being born on hers!

Really cool gift! And that's just awesome that it's a 45th on her 45th! My car and my daughter share the same birthday! April 11th! That they have same birthday's in common with loved ones (or animals) makes our cars even more special to us! Good job AlohaBR!

Well mine is still sitting at trainyard in toronto and has been since sat at 7:30 pm. This stinks was hoping to have it by saturday.

I suppose it does help to know WHY. It just doesn't make this mess any easier. The current car is going back to GM on Wednesday (lemon issues) and we're daily driver-less until the new car gets here. We've been dealing with the issues with the current car since August of last year when the clutch went out the first time. Then the top was replaced, then all the issues with that, then the clutch went out a second time. The car just isn't right.

We're taking a huge leap of faith with this new one and all the small delays along the way (the fight for a buy back took almost 5 months alone...dealership wouldn't order new car until the VERY last minute...) have been extremely frustrating. And now we've got a car built a week ago just sitting there?

I'm not trying to downplay everyone else's anticipation. This journey started a year ago for us when we bought the white/orange car off the lot. The permagrin was awesome while it lasted. We will have owned the car a week shy of a year when we hand it back. Hard not to be upset over all of it.

I hope that everyone's car moves today in some form or another and we're all on our way to doing a happy dance soon!!

I understand the frustration, I think what adds to all our frustrations now a days is the connectivity that we have. Years ago all you could do was wait and gear from your dealer. He would tell you 4-6 weeks and you would just wait.

In the old days? Only in the states can you track it.

I have to call my dealer every time.

Am talking 20-30 years ago. When I ordered my car in 1980, I didn't get email updates, because it didn't exist. I was lucky to get a phone call from my salesperson when it showed up at the dealer.

I know and I'm saying in Canada IT IS '1980' because I don't get email updates and can't track it online. I have to call or wait for a call from the dealer

EDIT: Or wait AT THE DEALERSHIP because basically im thinking about it constantly so I might as well camp out in the dealership parking lot haha....

Mine is on railcar ETTX712119 and just arrived in Walbridge, Ohio 12:07pm EST. and is on its way to Jessup MD.. getting excited...

Cool Beans. Mine arrived at Jessup, MD today at 12:01 AM. Now I wonder how long it's going to sit before it's loaded on truck?

its here! I seen my car today lol! Get the keys tom! I gotta say I really love my dealer. I've been there alot this week and each time they've let me take one out for a drive cause thy know how excited I am lol. Tomorrow...tomorrow!!!!!
