Premium is recommended, but not required. So saying that it runs on regular is technically correct, even if it is a tad misleading.

Because we used to be part of the British Empire. Thats why we use UK gallons instead of US gallons. Its also why we have things like a Prime Minister instead of a President and spell colour with a 'u'. And yes, we have our own federal fuel economy testing procedures.
OK..then it still makes zero sense.
MPG has no use as data in Canada. The only reason to add MPG data is for the U.S.A. So what sense does it make to use Imperial Gallons when it means nothing to anybody?...seems like someone dropped the ball there.

Don't know if this thread is still alive, but here's a question. Has anyone compared the original MPG with what they get after adding an aftermarket cold air intake or after a Dino tune? Even though I didn't buy this car for the gas mileage, I think a higher MPG touring mode tune would be nice.

Really, come on folks. If you own a ZL1 or considered purchasing one of these, you have to realize this car doesn't get 20mpg. This really make me wonder about folks looking at this car.
If you buy the ZL1, you better not be thinking you are getting a car that has good gas mileage. If you are, you are out of your mind.

This thread is ridiculous!

Not if you're racing...but on a road trip....it's surprisingly frugal!

1000 miles all road trip?

This isn't normal driving conditions, folks don't drive 1000 miles to get good MPG. This is a one off and not a daily driver.

I drive 600-800 miles a week and only get 15.5mpg. For me, this is optimal mpg considering the car and how I drive it.

It was a 500mi road trip to Indianapolis.

I was kidding just a little bit: Yes, the car IS capable of 20+ mpg...but it's not an every-day driving thing, for sure.

500 mile road trip is believable and grats on the 20+ mpg. I hope I can pull that off when I drive to Orlando in June, unfortunately, my foot and brain don't think the same way. :-)
