I purchased one of CFD's pistol grip tap shifters and I just love it!!! So much easier then having them on the steering wheel

I personally prefer to have real Paddles on the Steering wheel, just like every other sports car, they must have done this for a good reason ! Don't you think ?

An easy accessible Pistol grip tap shifters is definitely better than the existing hard to reach buttons on the steering wheel but with our Extended Aluminum Paddle Shifters, it's now a different story , makes your automatic more fun to drive + it looks GOOD ! but again, it's just matter of preference.

It's not a design flaw any more than a matter of taste. If you got a yellow camaro and said it was a design flaw because the car was too bright looking, you'd be in the same boat.
Well said.

The Paddle Shifters are not poorly designed, they are just too small to reach when driving but now with our Extended Aluminum Paddle Shifters, it's now a different story, it makes your automatic more fun to drive + it looks GOOD !

paddle shifters are gimmicks on Auto's and just awkward on a muscle car

I use them to keep from having AFM kick in (my '10 is early enough that AFM doesnt activate as long as I downshift at least once when I start driving).

However, they are horribly designed. Too small to reach easily while driving and hard to deal with when turning the vehicle. They also 'click' which sounds really cheap. A faster turning ratio for the car would help a ton but that probably isnt fixable.

And if they were "not too small" why did they make the 2012s bigger? I don't use them all the time but it would be nice if they were wider than my middle finger. I can't wait for Horizon's paddles.

Just found this old thread.

Have you checked our Paddles or maybe you already bought them ?
