They way mine is setup, there's a rocker switch that powers the kit and runs to a relay/DPDT that is attached to several resistors in a few different sensors. (I'm not sure which ones I think there are 4) When I throw the rocker it tricks the car into reading a lower IAT and increasing the timing, not much jsut a little. I make about 15 more RWHP with it on and do run a bit faster in the quarter mile. The real benefit comes on longer runs. After 30 minutes of hard driving I can put my hand on the blower and it's cold to the touch.

How in the world is your blower cold after 30 minutes? I use meth @1psi full @3psi and the hood is so hot it's uncomfortable.

Ok I have a question for Ted from Jannetty.

On a stock motor, I plan on Kooks LT or SLP LT headers, High flow cats and full exhaust with X pipe (have not decided who on the exhaust).

Being that the only high octane available to me is 91 octane, would meth be the answere to a higher octane level for a daily driver or can a tune net me the results W/O meth?

What about when I get the funds to do a S/C after these mods?

Everything's working perfect.. Just don't see how a maggie will ever beat cold to the touch. Thing is usually burning.

okay, I have another question. Since the meth injection nozzle is supposed to be mounted after the maf/iat sensor to avoid issues with contaminating the sensor how does the ecu receive the correct iat since the water/meth is being injected after the iat sensor?

I've always wondered the specifics of this too when tuning for meth power....

I know Ted tuned me without the meth and we just use it as a safety for my bad fuel down here.

The engine in its stock or near stock N/A form there is not much to be gained with extra octane maybe 10 hp on 93 vs 91.

Ted.

You just need to tune for it. I personally use it more for safety factor than power. You never know what you are pumping in to your tank, even it says 91 or 93 octane.
