Emissions alert from onstar

No. When I got in there last time and verified that the antenna was unhooked, I decided to hook it back up so the compass will work. Not that I look at it much, but CAL just looked wrong. I don't have a good way to test it anymore either, since my subscription has expired.

I believe you could be right about a backup antenna. Perhaps some method of using some part of the car wiring as a low power antenna. When I called them with the antenna unhooked it took longer to connect and the connection didn't seem as good. It certainly was good enough to gather data from my car, though.
