Ok full confession....9.63 was the best it went today....on a 1.65 (maybe even slightly higher) 60' time.

At 150 mph trap speed it has 9.20 to 9.30 in it with a better launch. It's charging hard the back 1/2 as it picked up 32mph which seems pretty strong.

Making a few adjustments to the car..adding meth back to lower IATs as they were HIGH but it was 92 degrees here today as well so that didn't help. We still aren't at the maximum blower speed and it's only putting down about 23 psi at peak...we want to try and see if we can get that to 28 ish and we're going to re-tune it for Q16 instead of C16. Proline told us they consistently see 6% more power on Q vs C so more boost and better fuel I think should be good for roughly 120 to 150 more horsepower.

We won't see 8s until we change the converter but I bet we can see some very very low 9s.

That is a great first outing Huff. Get that 60ft. down and you will be in the low9's for sure. C16 was made for extremely high intake temps.

We can see these IAT's rise up on the warmer days on the blower cars... If you are running C or Q it should not be much a problem besides just horsepower loss from IAT. If you are mainly running exhibition and do not have to contour to class restrictions, mine as well add the meth back on to lower the IAT's.

However, you could also just run an A-W intercooler, considering it's a pure race car now

Lol...yeah the IATs aren't worrisome from a detonation point of view but 255 degree IAT has to be robbing some top end charge.

We are putting a Progressive Meth kit back on the car for sure. It gets hot down here like you guys have no idea.

It's still a street car..whatchu talking about. Power seats, Air conditioning, power windows, Sirius radio and it even used to have Onstar.

I don't have any drag radials and honestly don't want any....I think we are just going to run either Rumble or 5th Gen for now. Either way I can't drive unless we slow the car down...I am making my comp passes Thursday.

Ha.....here's a new one on me......ONSTAR is shutting the car down at the 1/8th mile mark and calling Emergency services.

Was at the shop picking up my car when they brought your car back.It sure was a hot nasty day. When Ron told me what happened just about squirted Coke out the nose. By the way Ron had me send you that PM saying how badass that stack was. Car looked great at the Gathering.
