We are sending them our log files this time so they should be able to dial it in nicely now that we have real data. It's giving us a stall speed of about 34 to 3500 right now using the transbrake.
We should have just swapped converters because I have Coan also but had to switch mine to match the F2.

My old Formula was a lot lighter, 3400-3500, but I ran a 4500 stall in mine I think it was a 9" and I was going 1.35 on 325 DR's on 18 psi with my old YSi combo (680rwhp).

That's what the goal is.....1.3x would be great.....to go any lower I think would kill the drivability.

SoOn I hope!

Everyone needs to remember that this car is barely done, is still being tuned and at a national event, you need a comp license that I don't have yet. The car has been to the track 3 times with tuning work or breakage stopping the show.

The car broke the belt at the track rental so I could not make my comp passes but the first week that we are back together (converter) then I will be making my comp passes and be driving at the next 2 LSX events.

Broke a belt???? Say it aint so.. I am kidding with you. I forgot you didnt have a liscense yet. Be ready, you have a nice car to get used to. You will definatly enjoy it! You have a 8sec car all day after the bugs are worked out!

Not just one....but TWO! I texted John..figured he'd shared.

We got with PC and think we know why but won't know til we try.....one of the belts we know exactly what happened...rev limiter....pop....shred.

If the cogs keep dying then Hendrix thinks he has a serp belt solution. We'll see.

I can tell you NO serpentine will work. I tried that with my F2 as well and a 12 rib and the belt only being 52inches long on my C6 Corvette using the flip drive setup. It would work until the we tried making boost above 10lbs and then the pure backpressure of compressed air on the supercharger would cause the belt to slip. The belt would not break, however just slip and not build anymore boost. There is just not enough grip on a serpentine belt to make the boost you need without slippage. I had a long conversation with procharger about this and they said the F2 had to have a cog for this reason. Your in the same boat with the F1X. Also the 2 step on the T-brake will kill your belt also.

+1 Belts are just part of the game at this level. As the ole saying goes "You have to pay to play"

I think he means leave the hood unpainted. The extra weight of the paint will slow you down.
However, if you know a secret about running unpainted vs painted, please share.

Sorry...I have Torque converter on the brain so I was thinking he was saying leave the car as is.
