It wasn't an amazing deal, but still way better than what Best offered me.
Quirk in Quincy is a HUGE dealer, when I was searching for my 2012 SS they must have had 10-15 Camaros on the lot. Not a single one of them with a manual transmission! They said autos appeal to more people, I laughed in the salesman's face and drove off.

Last I checked Tracy Chevrolet in Plymouth had a couple Camaros out front. I almost ordered a ZL1 from them but I decided I couldn't wait that long (back in December). Great customer service though!

I ended up buying from DeSantis Chevrolet in Brocton. Their customer service is impeccable! And I got my SS for invoice, so I have no complaints.

See I didn't like Tracy I went too them twice after ordering started in October of 08 and they looked at me both times like I was a fool and they said they had no idea what I was talking about and not to believe a 3rd party website which I referred them to camaro5. They told me they would contact me as soon as they new any info which they didn't in dec I went to best in hingham with 1k placed my order and picked her up 6 months later

This was happening to me in January -March of 2010 (not the same dealer but several others). I think they were trying to keep their allocations for themselves instead of sold units so they could raise the prices

They must have smartened up because they were going to give me the ZL1 for sticker price. I think the salesman I had was just a very genuine guy, I wanted to give him the sale but I went with a different car.

Couldn't agree more. I visited Tracy before ordering. Salesman was great but the GM was useless. Coulda cared less. I went to Best and was treated like a king (still am when I go for service).

Either that or they thought I was to young and didn't take me seriously.

Mine is a daily driver... I work nights and have driven it through the worst storms New England has seen since 2009. This has been one of the best cars I've ever driven in the snow, but then it's the first time I've ever bought a set of actual snow tires for one of my cars. If you put the snow tires on, you'll have no worries. Welcome to the area!

NH charges a yearly "fee" - in Nashua this is $600+ for a new SS vert. So if you do reg in NH first, expect this. Can't get plates unless you pay this up front. No free lunch - if you do find one, let us know.

Meh,........Camaro and the winter? No thanks.
Not only are you going to need to buy some GOOD winter tires, your undercarriage and body will rot sooner than those that are not out on the roads during the winter, possibly ending the life of your car sooner. I say get an awesome AWD or 4X4 if you can.
Good luck!

Just gotta clean it every week to take care of that salt build-up from the winter.
