Because that is dangerous and illegal, not to mention I'm more mature than that. There's a reason I got my car so young, and believe you me, it wasn't by being an idiot.

Also, I didn't say I'd whoop him either. I just say there is no way he would whoop me considering the difference in weight. I'd love to go to a track and see just how close these two V6s are, but I don't think my friend thinks going to a track is the "cool" thin to do. Guess luck of the draw at the track hoping there's any other 6s there.

Good!! I drive a '08 Charger R/T as my dd as well. I dont care either. The Chargers are a nice car, I like it! Its a nice sedan for a family (I have 2 kids) but can get up and go when needed. I appreciate all cars for what they are.

Firstly, your car looks great!

No disrespect, but the '12 Challengers with the 392 engine are factory beasts. An SS would need some pretty good mods just to keep up, and if the 392 is modded...it's going to get ugly quick.

Yeah, I know what you mean about that being the first thing people want to say...just because you have a Camaro, people are going to do that because it's always associated, along with Mustangs and Challengers and any other sports car, as being a car built for racing. Which isn't entirely untrue, even if you don't race it yourself.

Anyway, that's my $.02.

Its not a Challenger is a Charger. Im not sure how a Challenger even got into this thread bc that is not what my friend has. Its a SRT8 Charger.

LMAO you post a link to some random site with an "estimated theoretical top speed without the limiter",it says it right there, (which youve already stated you still have on your car since it isn't tune due to it still being under warranty) and thats "backing everything up with links"? not to mention how you've conveniently "corrected details" after quite a few comments/pages to make the story fit better. that's awesome. your inability to make a mistake and just be wrong is just pure awesomness. true story.

LOL I gotta admit im stumped at how you just refuse to give in and call it a day. that's resilience. and in all seriousness even an srt8 jeep will give your ss a run for its money. don't let random bloggers on random sites fool you into thinking it can't happen.

Well lucky for you I am out bc Im done with this pointless thread. Ive already proven my point and E.T. on page 2 posted a motortrend article abou the srt8 CHARGER which is what I was referring to not a 392 Challenger or Jeep that folks brought up on their own. The SRT8 CHARGER numbers are extremely close to a SS Camaro. Im glad that you guys want to keep shouting off about how the SS would get spanked by a Charger, go buy one then. The numbers and links are more accurate then your opinion. And thats fine if you dont want to learn and educate yourself on the topic, thats not my issue.

Just enjoy your car and I will mine no matter what kind it is. That was the point of this thread before the drama club started in

here I added it for you

They're nice cars though; I'd take one. Still not as good looking as the Camaro.
