Badges

I bought the old school badges from Camaro Central, had to cut off tabs and install double stick tape.

I painted my front bowties center satin black and scratched the red off the rs.

Also plastidipped my Camaro badges

Also removed the rear bowtie to replace it with one of these.

Which I plan to go over with abm or regular fender letters like this.

And I removed my rs trunk badge for this.

Just some ideas.

I can't believe anyone would care what you do to your own car. I had wheel vents installed and the body shop was going to put the Camaro letters back on (not sure where) but I told them to leave them off. I had a couple of people that said "nice Mustang" so I put on a Camaro SS windshield banner put on so there wouldn't be any confusion that it's a Camaro and not a Mustang.

Personally I take the Boyd Coddington approach to cars, basically he would look down a car and the first thing that grabbed his eye, he would remove. To me the Bowties just didnt look good. So I pulled them and added some retro SS badges. I think it looks much better this way, and its not like you cant put them back on, they are just stuck on with 3M tape.

so what if you debadge your car, then next thing you know when you are out shopping and walk out of wal mart, you try to get into a Ford Fusion... oh Dam, that's not my car. You didn't notice because the owner of the Ford Fusion also debadged his car. Now you can't find where you parked. That night in the garage, you are re-badging your car, because you were so humiliated.

LOL!!!!

LMAO. Second time this point was raised and it's legit. I didn't get into the camaro world to be mistaken for anything but. Since I started the thread I decided I didn't so much want the badges gone as I wanted them to match. I'm gonna paint them black. I don't have straight eyes though so I have to figure out to get them back on correctly

Go for it man. I took off the bowtie & the RS badge when I had my heritage grille installed & I think it makes the car look a lot cleaner. No regrets.

Things have changed. Pulled the "Camaro" badges off to paint black and realized there wasn't a chance in all holy heck I was going to try realigning them after painting them. LOL. I actually love the clean look without them

I'm debadging the car entirely. I will replace the "CAMARO" on the fenders with the letters " RAVEN " that will be the only thing on the body.

i think it is immature when v6 owners debadge, it's like they are trying to hide something (or at least trying to fool people into believing they have a v8). couldn't care less if you have a v8 and do it, i just know that 99 out of every 100 camaros i have seen debadged were v6s. case in point...go back and look at this thread and see how many v8's actually did it vs. v6s. i haven't looked, but i bet the results are pretty lopsided.

If you used "CROW" instread (W is the upside down M) you wouldn't have to buy new letters.
