I think the changes they made to the rope look cool. Much better than the concept...

I hope they have some cool accessories for the rope. that would look so cool with some frays or burn marks.

well i think the rope on the concept was WAY better, it was a MUCh lighter color, and looked much cooler.

The rope...Doesn't it look different from the concept's rope? I mean, there's a crease!! It TOTALLY messes up the look of the car. I ain't buying it now.

Nice job screwing up the rope, GM.

Rope?!? WTF!

That rope is a deal breaker for me. If they are including that on the Camaro then I won't buy one. It looks so stupid, why would they go an completely ruin a car by doing that. Im not going to listen to any 'its for saftey' or 'well, they had to make it price competetive with the mustang'. Thats all garbage and none of you know what the designers and engineers are thinking at GM. they are working right now to try and find all the little details that they can change just to enrage the people that loved the concept. GM never listens to the enthusiasts, they never have and they never will.

You all know that they are going to get bought by Toyota next year, don't deny it. They lost billions of dollars last year. they don't have any hybrids, their interiors are crap, their cars are unreliable, they rely on pushrods in their V8's, and their flagship car, the Corvette uses leafsprings!

Im never going to buy GM, Honda FTW! My Civic will smoke any Camaro!!!1!!!1one

Don't like the pre-pro headlights?

They are not the real headlights. Now everybody say it.

The preceeding message is a representation of opinions gathered from other comments about the prepro Camaro. I do not recomend or endorse any of those statements. In fact, I feel so dirty for even saying them. I had you thinking that was the end of my post, didn't I?

Sorry, but the engineers said the rope had to change. The concept rope was WAY too expensive and would never have been strong enough to open the trunk from the outside in regular use. (Sorry we also forgot to include a trunk lock-cylinder on the production version about the same time we forgot reverse lights; we were kinda focused on the front end). Stop complaining about it, it's not going to change back the concept rope.... it's an affordable sportscar, not a luxury car. You can always replace it with a stuffed tiger-tail from the aftermarket if you don't like it.
