The best mod I've done is exhaust cut-outs, they are great. I got mine from QTP. If you want loud you open them, if you want a nice grumble you can open them 1/2 way, or you can leave them closed and keep the sound from the factory.

I've read some threads about guys that have changed their exhaust systems and aren't happy with them. I think the biggest draw back is the the constant exhaust sound when traveling an hour or more. I have gotten annoyed by the sound of my cut outs when they are open all the way so I just close them 50% or completely close them.

Tint the windows, paint tail light bezels, strips, paint bowties, new spoiler, Heritage grill, front splitter, just a few things you might consider, believe me the mod list never ends.

Welcome home! CAI and an exhaust will definitely be a dramatic change in how your car sounds. Just shop around and find the best deals you can. There are vendors on this site that will help you out. Good luck!

Performance wise #1 is exhaust system, 2 get a CAI (do some research to make sure you get one that actually is providing a performance gain).

Janetty (a vendor) on this forum made a spreadsheet of all the different v6 options for 2010 and the hp and torque they put out. The highest numbers go to the injen intake (which is why I got mine). Also, the fuel ratio is the least changed in the injen intake, which is an added plus.

The exhaust sounds wonderful. I did the SS exhaust mod because I'm a college kid and don't have much money. The exhaust really does sound good, but there are better options for about a $1000 more. MRT 2.0 has received rave reviews from everyone on this site.

I'll post some links so you can see some of my mods, if you want any in particular let me know, but here you can find most of my pictures:

I have a youtube video of the exhaust. You can't go wrong with the sound for the money:

A catch can is one of the best mods you can do to preserve your engine, CAI, exhaust, ported throttle body all good mods but the catch can is a winner.
Check out my build thread to check out some of my cosmetic mods if you like (click the sig pic to visit my build thread).

The vents are Hex Vents. Steve@HPE on here sells them for 400 for flat black or just aluminum, or 500 for them painted.

He has a full, and I mean extremely detailed 30 minute video on how to install them, so you shouldn't worry about having to pay someone else to install them.

I got the SS exhaust for free, from a donating member on here But if you have to buy one, most will sell the entire exhaust (9 feet by 5 feet) for probably 200 bucks or less

Hope that helps!

Go FI and Supercharge or Twin Turbo's!

Cai - Mrt v2 - Long Tube headers - Tune - Ported intake manifold - Insulators - Nitrous - Lower.. Performance list goes on and on!
