I will update this thread as we go through them. Will first get a baseline done today.. The car has just over 600 miles so its ready to test Here are a few pics too

Looking forward to seeing what you are able to do. My cousin had his Corvette worked on by you guys awhile back and was super pleased. But, I thought you needed to break these cars in for 1500 miles, not 600! Scott is going to send out the black Suburbans.

So is ECS just a barn behind someone's house?
With their presence in the industry I envisioned a much larger facility....with engine and chassis dynos, 20 lifts, CNC machines, etc.

But I guess you don't have to be large to be good.

Thats impressive.

It adds to the cloak of security. Kind of like the Bat cave.

Pulley

Thought people were installing a simple pulley swap with regular tools, first I heard of needing a special tool, want to clarify? Or you referring to the shaft?

I understand crank pulleys need a extraction tool cause of the way they are pressed and seated, but had no clue it was going to be like that with a simple pulley swap, which just arrived in the mail a few days ago for instance lol!! And solid coupler ofcourse!!:-D

The install center is on 5 acres with a house on the property thats rented with a separate dyno room, the machine shop is about the same size (with the CNC's-Bridgeports-welding equip-tubing benders etc etc etc) and is located down the road a 1/4 mile, then we have another building thats also the same size as the install center for housing the charger kits and product.
We have found it easier to separate these things and run them almost as separate companies.

It works for us, thanks!!

The factory pulley is pressed on very tight. If you try and use a standard 3 jaw pulley you will most likely bend the rear of the pulley forcing the puller to slip off. We use a puller that grabs the whole pulley from the back of it so it comes off un damaged. I have had customer cut the pulley off at home too Although it can work its not something that we do here.
Pressing the new pulley on is pretty simple. You dont need a huge press either. They go on very easy.. To pin the shaft is tricky. You need a very good drill bit as the shaft is hardened. The hard part is holding the shaft while you drill the hole. We use a CNC Bridgeport so it makes it a simple job. I would recommend trying this with a cordless drill while trying to hold it in your lap..
