I noticed no ones belt is adjusted properly on the Maggies with the exception of Zook.

The idler needs to be almost touching the tensioner, to get the most wrap around the drive pulley.

When I had the 6 rib back in 2009 I would get the idler and tensioner(GM) to touch (running a 3.4 pulley) then tighten the idler. It would always back off the tensioner a little leaving about 1/8th" space between the two. Yes, you can do this with one person. Takes about 2 minutes. |

Better pics. Obviously with the 3.2 pulley. From summer of 2010. Still has the stock tensioner in these pics.
