ha ha yeah, not too many of us this forum have these.
I think it is like you stated, the cornering. Those letters are very close to the road.
I keep my tires a little high on the tire pressure side and they seem to hold up well.

The ranger paint i mentioned does exactly like it states, it cracks but it wont peel or flake off.
Id recommend the $15 investment to anyone who wishes to do this.
Comes off with well with any brake cleaner or acetone solvent.

How did you clean the tires before applying? I notice the ranger website says to not use a tire cleaner....

Also, do you know if you can use a tire cleaner after painting? I normally use Wesleys bleach white to clean tires (white letter or not)

btw: love the look. It'd be cooler if the letters themselves were a little bigger.... Pirelli's fault!

Thanks for the idea on this I just ordered a 4 pen set on eBay. I am going to do it in silver I think it will look better the color of your car. I think it will blend in better but that's just me. Thanks again Tramtwo

Good luck with this. With these tires I kept scraping the top of the letters off. Guess I was cornering too hard. I love the look but the upkeep was too much.

I like this, but wouldnt hold up for driving on gravel and dirt roads like do, and especially with constant washing and tire shine.

It is something I would do temporary for a car show, good idea

IMO the P-Zero's lettering just doesn't look that great. The BF Goodrich in the last post looks great.
