Tell the girlfriend she doesn't have to get her money's worth at every buffet. ;-)

no particular goal in mind, juts looking for simpler ways to make my car go a little bit faster
no drastic changes like taking the seats out, but more practical things

Replacing the stock exhaust on my car for a Borla exhaust dropped over 30 lbs off Ruby's rear. IMHO everyone's first mod should be to get those butt ugly, lead heavy mufflers/tailpipes off their Camaro! It also enhances the permagrin listening to the nice purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Well what kind of budget are you working with? The trick to going faster by removing weight is either taking out enough weight (which is not easy at all) to make a difference, or taking out the right kind of weight (which is easier but can get pricey) to make a difference.

There's a lot of info in my project thread which coyote posted above that has all kinds of things you can do at all kinds of price points. You might want to browse through it and decide what might fit your budget and goals.

All jokes aside but the driver is the one that holds a lot of weight, If you're a bigger fella I'd look into losing weight yourself. It's a triple win, you're lighter on the track, you get in better shape and you can tell your wife all about how the car motivated you.
