Guys, our turbo kit is a PERFORMANCE MODIFICATION to your vehicle. You the customer will have to do some UPKEEP ON YOUR PART! Just like a supercharger, or header install. Belts need to be tightened, header bolts need to be checked. Plug wires do come loose as well. My entire life since I could drive and race, have I not ever had to do upkeep on my car no ,matter how little or heavily it was modified. Diaz your car is not stock any longer and you will have to do some upkeep and keep things in check under the hood.

You got me scared to install my kit with these injectors....lol

I have no excuse for this. I didnt check to make sure the fabricator we were using did his job. This is why we have a manufacture now is taking care of us now.

When daiz dropped off the car he had a few isssues including the starting.
For a week I drove and logged his car and not 1 time did it have a starting issue. Hot or Cold. My techs move the car in and out of the shop and no issue. Drove the car to lunch, no issue. The starting issue is INTERMITTANT and is not 100% of the time. Diaz had a exhaust rattle after a few months of driving. We fixed the rattle and did not charge him. Diaz mentioned ID850's that he was supposed to get, however he forgot to mention he did not want to pay the difference in the cost. Sorry they are not free.

Chris

LET ME STOP YOU RIGHT THERE BEFORE YOU DIG YOURSELF IN A DEEPER HOLE WITH THE LIES!!!!!!!! First off, my car never had a starting issue until your turbo kit was installed. That was the whole reason this thread got started. The very FIRST morning after taking delivery of my car it had the delayed start. Yes you did take care of my exhaust rubbing on my frame issues which was a result of one of your installed v-clamps coming loose just like i said in my other post. Which that happened to be the only thing you took care of when you had my car for an additional 3 weeks. Second off, You installed a second set of FIC injectors in my car and could not figure out the tune problem when i was at your shop for a whole day. SO WHAT DID YOU TELL ME???? YOU TOLD ME, you contacted a WELL KNOWN tuner on this forum and came to the conclusion that the problem was the injectors. YOU (CHRIS) told me you would order the ID850's for me and install them to see if that fixed the problem. NOT ONCE did you mention i would have to pay for them before you order them!!!!!!! Why would I pay you for another set of injectors after i already payed you over $6k on a product that hasn't worked?? The product YOU installed in my car has not WORKED properly since DAY 1! YOU had 3 different opportunities to fix all the problems you caused on my car and you FAILED!

The injectors are not free. you knew you had to pay the difference. I dont care what you say. The exhaust rattle, well clamps do loosen up.You have driven your car for months and even raced it. All the problems with your car?? You car has a intermittant startup issue and that is it. I guess a burnt plug wire is my fault to. It is required that you open your hood occasionally and check on things.

THATS YOUR #1 PROBLEM RIGHT THERE!!! You have ZERO customer service skills and your tuning skills are even worse. Kinda sad when i post up a video that half of the people on here know what the problem is and you couldn't figure it out over a 3 month period that you have had my car sitting in your shop, taking it on your little joy rides to lunch. I have been nothing but patient with you and its gone way to far. I payed you for a service and you were never able to get the car running properly. I RACE MY CAR REALLY????? Cause that sounds like the best thing to do with my 22" rims? Cause that takes a genius to find out that my rear end would probably go on the first pass i ever tried to race my car. I'm 28 years old and a Law enforcement officer for the military. Trust me my career is way more important then to go looking around for a street race. You can keep trying to point your finger at me for the problems with your kit but that's not going to get you anywhere. Everyone on this site has seen nothing but problems from YOU and your company HPS. Theres a few more that havent spoken out yet because you still owe them parts and they are afraid of not getting them. But don't worry, they will speak out eventually and everyone will continue to see what kind of business you are running.

Didn't you have this very problem not even 3 days of taking delivery of it?

It always sucks to see an unhappy customer and reputation of the company who is at fault be challenged. I also have a turbo kit in my car from a different company but I will be the first to say it wasn't smooth as said to be. We had to fabricate pieces and notch the frame a bit but I think that is the nature of turbo kits. Like Chris said it is modified now, I always check for rubbing, loose parts etc its going to happen. As for the starting I have id-850s and teds tune. Thing starts better than stock, hopefully everything can be worked out but I hate to see people take issues public unless the supplier honestly doesn't care about customer service. Obviously nobody knows the full story but you two, hopefully everything works out. All I know is I learned patience are necessary when modding even on my little setup, a supposedly 12 hour install turned into 40 hours.

You and Chris are exactly correct on that. the car is modified and yes i do have to keep up on the maintenance. But after driving 10 hours round trip to his shop 3 separate times and to fix a problem that is out of my hands is unheard of. Thats over $200 round trip just on gas each time. I wish i could just go in my home garage and strap the car on a dyno and figure out all the injector values and stuff. But no I cant and that's why its so frustrating. I have had NOTHING BUT PATIENCE. He has had my car on and off since March and still hasnt came up with the solution for my problem. Instead wants to go throw out lies about me racing. That's just childish and him trying to cover his butt. I have his voicemails and the emails which were sent to him and i will make them public in my review. I was told for the 3rd time my car was completely fixed but it wasnt. It sucks it had to be made public like this but i will not take the bullying and just take a $6k loss. I will take this as far as it has to go till he makes it right. If you read the past threads, i actually gave him the opportunity to make this all right. I didnt just come out here and bad mouth HPS. But when you have been given 3 opportunities to make it right and you still haven't than there is a problem. I have honestly said nothing but the truth in all of my posts. For him to get on here and accuse me of Tracking my car and saying i was aware i had to pay for more parts is just plain rubbish! HPS's only way out of all this is to lie about it and make me look like a young, dumb, immature kid who abuses his car. I am everything but that and have been nothing but honest and straightforward with HPS and this forum.

Does your setup use stock or custom plug wires?

Lots of reasons for hard start, one can be running on 7 cylinders.

WOW Diaz, I hope you get your car fixed, sounds like you would be better off to find someone else to do it though. I can't beleive HPS said what they said to you on here. When HPS said "2 side to the story" I thought he was going to actually say something different, but he just confirms your story and then points fingers at you. He will end up out of business if all this nonsense keep up, too many people with issue not getting resolved.

MSD wires. 8.5mm Super conductor. One of my wires is arcing which im in the process of replacing. But the wires were added with the turbo kit a few months ago.

Look Diaz, When you took delivery of your car it was fine, you were happy. The next morning you had a slow start issue and called me and I asked you where you lived that I would come and look at it and you TOLD ME TO NOT COME AND LOOK AT IT, when I specifically told you I would, but you said NO. So rather me come and look at it, you feel it necessary to start a thread on here saying your car will not start. Before I got home you had this thread started. I have done everything I can to fix your issue. Your slow starting issue is RANDOM!! If it dosnt happen while I have your car I cannot fix it! Everyone that has been buy the shop to look at your car when I showed off the turbo kit to them and STARTED THE CAR UP for them, there was NO STARTUP ISSUE! Everyone that knows me, knows we take care of any issues any customers have, however the symptons have to be present for me to fix them.
