It looks awesome! I Really would like to do it myself, but I'm worried i'm mess it up and waste $300. the part " dry install" worries me. The stripes from Ridergraphix, does anyone know if they are wet install? To me, the wet install seams more forgiving.

I think if one of these companies would post a video showing the actual process of doing a 2010 camaro, they would sell like hot cakes.

Well done; a truly commendable job! The vinyl is laid out superbly and all of your lines look fantastic. Pretty darn impressive, and that's coming from a guy who went with paint!

Thanks again all.... i appreciate it.

as far as it being a DRY install... the adhesive is VERY forgiving untill it is squeegeed down. and it has channels in it to allow releasing air. it really is amazing stuff.
i'm not trying to sell anybody i just like the product and wanted to share.
there are many kits, and will be many more, I just wanted to put some more info out for folks on the hunt!

i would not say doing this yourself is a walk in the park but it is definately not impossible. (keep in mind that i said earlier that as a hobby i have done just about everything to a car but vinyl in the past... including paint)

take care, and thanks again for all of the kind words!

I don't doubt your word or pics, LDGn63, but a dry install of those stripes to me seems impossible, maybe even for a professional. Either you are one lucky SOB, unlikely, or you are damn skilled, which I believe is the case. Beautiful job, man...feel very proud...and gloating is entirely acceptible!!!!

HA! Thanks!
I think i'm just BLESSED.

I'm sure it has more to do with the product being "designed" for the dry install than me. i certainly had my moments of "what was i thinking?"

the front 12" on the outside was tuff (as the cowl fades to nothing)... i thought i was gonna loose it but a little heat and patience paid off.

thinner stripes would be easier.... but i like these wide ones!

with the "fun" i had on the spoiler, outer hood, and mailslot i can definately see why GM did what they did to the stripes. (i still dont forgive them )

Our kits are installed wet. I do not have any experience with the dry install vinyl, so I cannot honestly comment on it. I know what we have been using for the past number of years, and have not had any issues whatsoever.

I know 3M makes an EZ apply vinyl, but I didn't like the fact that you could see the lines in the finished product where the air escape routes were in the adhesive.
