SW has you remove the steering shaft, maybe only the 2". I know I had to.

Lol
I've yet to install those headers lol but removing the shaft I think maybe a 2" header not the 1 7/8's.

Wrapping the headers is a very bad idea, it will definitely corrode alot quicker.

I second this. You never want to wrap a stainless steel header. I have actually seen the headers crack from this.

Also look at SLP. I think I paid $1200.00 for them and they look and sound great.

300 miles on your car in 14 months and NOW you're thinking about modding?!

I'd just forget about it.

ARH says to disconnect the steering shaft in the instructions. I don't know if you necessarily have to do that tho.

My 400.00 obx headers are doing a great job for me. Been on the car for 18,000 miles now and not one problem.discolored a little but they look and sound great.I don't know how long the stainless headers will last but when I need a new set(30 years?) it will be OBX again. That 800.00 dollars I saved sure feels good in my wallet too.Thats gonna pay for my converter.

Yea it doesnt get driven much, sad part is about 80 of those where coming home dealer, then 20 got put on doing the top recall lol. ive got a other crap in the garage like that too,

Is the GM cat back any good? I mean looking at it vs the stock huge muffler i would think it flows better. To be honest my trade in was worth a lot more than the camaro, so i just added all the other crap too, car cover, cat back, bla bla bla...

wasnt gm bringing out a cold air box or did that get scrapped.. I was thinking i would do much becuse of warranty but at this point, ill run out of warranty by months way before i get even 3K miles at the way im going

after listening to stitches, to hell with headers it needs that cam too, lol.. good sounding car!

No GM CAI that I am aware of. I think at this point a low very low mile car that is all OEM is a far more desirable thing than another Camaro with headers.
