It's been my experience that when people do a project they usually (apparently not everyone) have little bits and screws and whatnot leftover. Sometimes people (like me) seem to misplace a bit or two.

I just figured if I asked in this applicable thread, there may be someone out there with an extra rivet or two they had extra and if not, that's cool. I'm doing my part to be environmentally responsible.

about how much do you need to alter the plastic air dam just in front of a stock ss, just a few inches on each side?

OK. I just talked to Ofer and the subject is trimming the plastic outboard of the radiator as shown in picture number 4 in my thread here

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=257133

The plastic to the left of the white label on the harness that you have to cut for the scoop to your CAI, but both sides

For some dumb reason, I thought that piece was integral to the bumper cover when I cut it. LOL

Thanks Ofer

Darryl

Just cut off the wings right along the corner of the air scoop. That is what I did and it just barely gave me enough room.

ACS ZL1 style insert

For those that don't want to pay the big bucks for the ZL1 hood and the cost to paint it check out this thread if you haven't already. I have pics of my car where I put one on my hood in posts 297 & 343.
