Anyone going with muffler delete (SLP loudmouth), etc your looking at NASCAR loud (explosively loud on cold start ups in the morning) if you later decide to get long tube headers and high flow cats.

That's something to think about.

I'm going to go with a milder sounding catback for now. Then when I add long tube headers it will be just the way I like it. Nice and aggressive but not crazy loud.

Your running long tube headers, high flow cats, and muffler delete?

I've had that setup and its extremely loud. The cops will hear you coming from miles away.

Sometimes it can have side effects like bad Cabin reverb. But this car is a strong frame.

If you put deletes in C4 vettes it will almost make you throw up at some speeds from vibration. It's really horrible cause of the poor structure design (admitted by GM folks not my words).

So this probably won't happen in the Camaro.

I tried the muffler delete, At idle It sounded great and on acceleration however the popping crackle like noise on deceleration I did not like at all! It was worth A try, but have decided to order the loud mouth system It sounds awesome without the crackle noise!

I got it done yesterday and the popping/crackling is driving me nuts. I'm prob gonna go with the magnaflow street series axleback. I'm prob gonna stay away from loudmouths for fear that the straight through design might result in crackling.

The guy at the muffler shop did a great job and only charged me $67! So luckily I'm not out much $$ so far. Sounds awesome other than the crackling

For the economically challenged you can't go wrong with this delete. For those that want a different note,"like me", and can afford it I go another direction.
