Ok, I just put a 3" pulley on my Edelbrock and my shop said I shouldn't have a problem with the belt but gave me the belt number. I would be shit out of luck if it does happen because I have no idea how to replace it. I don't beat the hell out of my car but sometimes when I'm at a stop light and someone pulls up beside me I just can't help myself. LOL

I have a spare belt and a bar to release the tension on the tensioner in the trunk at all times.

JRE super tensioner, ECS tensioner, OD crank pulley and bigger upper, or OD rear cogs, 8 rib, 10 rib. One or all of the above will help.

SSCAMARO.....

Make sure you have the updated tension with bracket. In addition to keeping a spare belt I now keep a spare tensioner. I broke my original one at the track this year.

I can provide you with the part numbers if needed.

I have 30K miles on the E-Force now. I'm stilling running the stock Gaterback belt that came with the S/C. I don't take mine to the track, so I haven't had any problems with the belt slipping or the tensioner. I do carry a spare belt in the trunk though.

They have always had the blue belt,it was suppose to be better than the green but they never made it in the size we needed. The GREEN has been the tuffest weve used but there getting stupid high .

Huh that's odd cause on the gates website they don't list the green just the regular one and the race (blue) one.
