I assure you the changes won't be drastic at all. Not when in 2015 they change over to the alpha platform. That'd cost entirely too much to revamp the body style only to change it completely again in another yr. it'll be minor changes and have high HP. Might have a few deletes you can do on the list to shave weight and have HP but no drastic changes occurring.

Hideaway headlamps will never return as much as I'd like that. They don't work well. How many times have you seen that corvette or fiero with one headlight stuck open? Too often.

As for mpgs on LS7, is that really an issue? Really? "I want an ls7, but im not going to get it unless it gets umpteen mpg." Completely idiotic and inane. A car like that can get 3 mpg for all I care, if you're worried about mpgs get a v6 or better yet go electric or a smart car. What are you? Treehugging? Power will come at an expense. The term pay to play stands and won't ever change.

Totally wrong about the V6... twin turbo will push over 400 HP & get 30+ MPG (depending on how you drive, of course)

Cake and eating it too is. V8 pushing 600+ HP N/A getting 30+ mpg

FWIW
I am at my dealership right now and the sales manager said there will be a few surprises in the 2014 Camaro, but nothing drastically different. He said he couldn't elaborate any more until the car is shown in New York. He said he will be there to see it.

Your salesman has about the same info as you or I, he is doing nothing more then assuming.

He has inside connections......he knows more than you or I do. Believe me or not I don't care but some of you are getting your hopes up and will be very disappointed.

Since I have known him for 10 years and he has always told me the truth and has been right, I will believe him.

So the consensus is that there isnt a ls7 option. Pretty much.

However.. if they put a ls7 in it, im selling my car right now. End of story.

I doubt they will make any big changes other than the basic year to year differences. It would be nice to see an LS7 option that could be paired with the 1LE package, but I just cant see it.

My 2013 hasnt been delivered yet, but if they reveal an LS7 package I will be trading in my 1LE...

Unless he tells you exact details before they are officially released he has the same info as us here. We all know there will be a few surprises, we known this since December of 2012 when the LS7 vin card was accidently released and besides that the car has minor changes every year so he hasn't told you anythign the rest of us here have known for months.
