I second that those reverse lights are sweet. Just line the brake lights with LED's Those would be extremely bright and last forever not to mention make the rear end look clean. This suggestion is a great idea for GM to think about.
And it shouldn't cost very much

Like Ellie and Kevin rest assured that GM is paying attention to the forums concerning the car. Your voice is being heard at GM and taken into consideration.

Like the other 14 I thank my lucky stars that I was able to be part of this lifetime event. All 15 of us know that we are speaking for thousands and hopefully we are doing everyone proud.

Everyone on this forum like alot of them are bringing great ideas and concerns to the table for us to discuss and talk about.

Keep them coming........

Interior,
An interior with nice surfaces and nice chrome trim in places would be fine. Not the cheap plastic with chrome like plating that chips off, like the mustangs come with (gotta do better than that). I like the layout of the interior the way it is. I hope that the steering wheel that is in the mule photographs is not the final one. I know i know, its a test car and parts are not final. But being that it is trimmed in chrome with camaro and that chrome ring around it makes it seem like it is the final one. It just seems to much like a school bus wheel. Maybe something a little sportier and sleeker.
Other than that, I am happy with the car.

CAMARO RACING !!!! I think it is about time for GM to fully assault LeMans in 2009. I think the new Camaro is a perfect GT2 car. Hmmmm, Camaro Z28-R has a nice ring to it. Try this a few times "The Camaro Z28-R crushed the field of Porsches at LeMans this year...." Yep, I like the sound of it!

I am one for simple pleasures at my advancing age.

1. Minimum 400 Horsepower with AFM - Cylinder Deactivation
2. Six Speed Auto with Paddle shifters
3. Quality Sound System with a jack for Media Player (There are more than Just Ipods out there).
4. Quality Leather Interior with Heated Seats
5. 19-20 Cast Wheels like the ones on the Concept
6. Sunburst Orange II Metallic Paint
7. I for one would like to see interior trim or leather inserts color coordinated with the exterior color as an option.
8. To me NAV system is irrelevent. I have a Garmin and I can put it in any vehicle.
9. Good Quality All-Weather Tires
10. Traction Control, that can be fully deactivated.
11. ABS - I know it is a given, but I have become a strong believer in it.
12. I may be biased, but I like the SS as a model whether or not it is top of the line or not. (In deference to the Z28 faithful.)
13. Actually, I would also add E85 capability.

Striping from the Factory, is not a priority. I will take my Orange Beauty and Have Pearl White Metallic Stripes added like the originals in 1969.

Simple pleasures for a simple mind.

Well, I am not sure if it has been mentioned already or not... but I for one would rather a stock but very versatile sound system... preferably with a USB port, AUX input, and RCA jacks for hooking up your own amps... (USB port maybe hidden in the glove box or center console).

Guess I should add these here too...

After having seen(and touched a pre-prod).. here are my thoughts/ideas..

Since there is no driveshaft tunnel, make the back seat a bench or close to a bench. Bolsters/buckets in the back make it feel smaller/clostrophobic.

Since there was no back seats in it, it was hard to judge rear leg room, Understand its a coupe, but make it at least bearable(it looked tight with no seats).

Battery in the trunk (if its not already)

Keep the dash/door panels/console as it is, it much more functional than the pics make it look.

Not worried about performance with this thing.....

Do you guys think it'd be a good idea to have a manual available with the V6?
I don't want to put too many of my ideas in there unless they've got some support from other members.

In another thread there were guys screaming that there better be a manual for the V6, so I would say yeah.

Out of business standpoint yes. Out of my own staindpoint no! It's a muscle car damnit! Buy the V8 if you want a stick shift.
