No mag ride on the Z/28. Build it with a track oriented suspension and leave the mag ride out of it to save money.

Gimme my MagRide!!!!!

...I won't buy another dedicated sports car (ala Camaro) without it...and I'd rather not have to buy a $60k car again....

Or...on the other hand...the C7 manages to offer both a track suspension (traditional Z51), and MR (new Z51) to suit all manner of buyers.

...I am soooo proud of my use of the new smilies in this post.

I don't want to talk out of turn... you guys have towed the line far longer than me. When I arrived here I appreciated the site's vision. The no street racing policy the defined market place. The lack of drive by sales. All these and several other I think helped build a great community spirit. A very attractive place... I settled in and in quick order learned a ton started to contribute and spent thousands with site vendors. Win win win!!

I have been a part of the internet community since '92. In that time the forums that stand the test of time are the ones who operate with a high level of integrity and service to the membership being the guiding principles. Anyone or anything that violates that has to be eliminated.

A while back a well known site sponsor commented that the vendors keep this site going. I respectfully and in no uncertain terms let him know that it was the membership!! My point... I should not have been the one to have to.

When endeavors have success it is easy to let up on what gets ya there. There can be no compromise because this community will turn commercial... the current issues are a great example. The membership should never have doubt that their well being and the well being of the community is held above profit.

This device may be a good thing but is the current presentation at the expense of what's best?

Again I mean no disrespect to anyone...

I thought you got EVERYTHING first from GM

So based on your post I'll sit on all those other 2014 Camaro photos

The Z/28 should be a pure drivers edition of the 5th Gen. Full square wheels and tires, ZL1 sways, 1LE dampers, ZL1 front brakes, LS7, etc.

Mag Ride and Pedders Coils?
ZL1 is the technology Camaro. The Z/28 is the pure track Camaro. Therefore the Z/28 doesn't need mag ride because it doesn't benefit it on the track. Ride comfort on the street may suffer slightly but that doesn't matter because it is secondary to the purpose of the car. There are some things you have to accept when you buy a car like a Z/28 or a ZL1.

I think after the ATS was leaked a day before reveal, GM went ballistic on certain media outlets. C7 was leaked simply because there was no way to really prevent it given the lead time required for the car magazines.

This is the third auto show where they haven't given out press materials before the actual reveal. I remember Enclave was leaked an hour or two before its reveal but it wasn't a high profile launch.
