Not relevant, but my dad used to say "they can put their gas back in the shell they removed it from".

Needless to say he didn't like Shell gas. I've generally found it's more a matter of the station itself, and not the brand.

Arrow Ranked...

...according to first considered, then availability...

1. Chevron

2. Texaco

3. Shell

4. Valero

5. BP

Never CITGO !

I only use 93 octane fuel. All are unfortunately marked at the pump as having at least 10% Ethanol...

My car runs best on Chevron.

Highest commonly available in Phoenix is 91 octane and we are under 'clean air regs' from the Feds, so we have a mandate for 10% eth.

I am a member on the SEMA Members Network and they are sending alerts that the EPA is trying to impliment 15% Ethanol. SEMA is trying to fight it and want us to send emils and letters to our lawmakers against the move and are trying to introduce legislation to stop the move until a study can be done to see if damage is incurred by the move.
Thsy did say that the EPA says this is just for 2008 and newer cars, but can you imagint how hard ti will be to find 10% ethanol? Will stations have 2 sets of pumps? I doubt it. Most will only carry the newer to comply with the EPA and let the consumer fend for himself.

Sure is. I never spend one cent there, no matter if they could be locally owed.

Here's a useful link for you as well. It's a bit hit-and-miss sometimes because anyone can edit it, but it is still useful none-the-less.
