I eat and drink in my car. Never had a passenger do it yet, but I won't blow a gasket over it.

When I first got my Camaro, I specifically told the wife and kids not to eat or drink in the Camaro. As the years went by, I have noticed the food crumbs and coffee/soda spills a lot more than usual. I continue to tell them not to eat or drink in the Camaro but in my household, I'm out numbered 4 to 1.

I don't even like picking up takeout in it. I put it in the trunk, but the smell still finds it's way in a little!

Any food I get from take out goes on the front pass floor mat. Drinks as long as they are capped or covered I'm ok with it.

They have cup holders for a reason. I learned to drink from a cup without spilling a long time ago so I can handle it. I don't usually have a lot of passengers but if I did they would be respectful of my stuff and I do have a vacuum and know how to use it. Now my Porsche Boxster is another story. The cup holders suck and it's a manual so it takes some skill in that car.

I won't even let people eat in my daily driver. A drink with a cap is acceptable. Anything else is prohibited.

My Camaro is a M6. Try driving with any kind of drink and see how uncomfortable it is I just buy drinks with a cap and rest it on the passenger seat or hold it until im done.
The only thing chevy messed up when designing the camaro was not adding cup holders behind the arm rest. Even my cobalt had that

As a rule no. A friend and I drove to Edmonton AB to Moab Ut a couple of years ago we only consumed water and coffee from spill proof cups and not a problem was encountered .
