I paid 35,400 for my house and was happy when I was able to keep the price for my new Camaro under that. House prices around here are not all that bad.

I see nothing wrong with that post as it's his opinion. Not everyone can afford these cars and some even choose not to indulge. To each his own. Cars have gotten ridic, esp when you consider most of the z/28 owners who spent 70k are not going to track the car. I for one would never spend that kind of dough on a vehicle. But it's certainly true that these things are toys not assets. To each his own. If you've got it to spend and want to, knock yourself out.

That's my plan so my human heirs can sue my estate to try and keep he dog from getting it. It will be a whole debacle. I guess I won't really know what the outcome is. Ok, on second thought, I'm going to blow it on cars between now and that time.

Here in KY, the wet counties, buying alcohol ranges from 12am to 4am as the cut off times. We've got drive thrus too and they even sell alcoholic slurpies. Lol.

Mini cooper really? My wife had one for a few years what a unreliable piece of sh*t. Sent that thing to the curb.

A little over forty grand is a lot of money for an old fart like me. My first house, a three bedroom ranch, was only seven grand more than my Camaro. There are many people with deep pockets on these forums.

![]() I wouldn't say I have deep pockets, I work in an area with a high cost of living so I earn decent money to compensate for that. Also like others here, I wouldn't say I'm close to rich, I just made a lot of sacrifices to pay off my Camaro because its what I wanted, much like some do with a house, a vacation, treating themselves to whatever daily, etc... Housing around me is ridiculous though, over $100k for a 2 bed, 1 bath, major fixer-upper.
