Had them eliminate Fuel Management. No more drone smoothed right out.
No need to use Sport Mode all the time now. & only using up to 5th gear until I get to a higher speed so I don't have the luging. Surprised the hell out of me got on the thruway put in drive hit the traction button for the first time mashed the pedal & all hell whipped my neck. And I know I don't have the power like you guys. But I love the difference. I 4 got not totally a great day. Pulling into I Hop Shaped like the letter S for the entrance cop coming out when I was already in the entrance. Moved a little left curb rash 8 inches in the left side of splitter. Camaro Nationals coming up if not fixed I probably will cancel.
Rubbin's racin'!!! That plastidip might help cover the scrape

Well good news had the scrape on the splitter looked at tonight. Splitter has to come off. So I'm having a temporary fix for now.

Good to hear Spike, put your build sheet/sign in front of it, none will see it! But then the sign will probably blow over and make more of a mess.........never mind.

Your car is fine even if you have a little oil in the intake built up, I'm sure it's less than you think. Also hit mike up on the sea foam, but I wouldn't put that through my motor.
If it's not hurting my HP, then I won't do it...and at your 600 rwhp, it's obviously not slowing your beast down!!

Perfect idea!! Let's both get nitrous so we get the 2 for 1 discount!!

Thanks so much!

If someone would have told me that I would be making this post three years ago, I would have laughed in their face.

Traded in my SS Monday morning. Some of you might have seen the posts that I've made over the past three years concerning my car's reliability. I had a heater core failure at 11k miles, (requiring windshield replacement, and tearing out the entire dash. Interior was NEVER the same. Constant whistling at highway speeds, creaking.) FOUR AC belt failures. (mostly the dealership's fault since they didn't check the problem out properly until the 4th trip) driver's side window weather strip failing. Finally, on Saturday night, as I was leaving work, got a CEL . Hooked up my SCT and found that I had an evap vent solenoid that had failed. From what I read it wasn't even a major fix. Probably a few hundred dollars. (car is officially out of it's bumper to bumper warranty.) However, this was really the last straw for me. As much as I loved this car, I don't have the cash to mod it, fix it, and maintain my winter vehicle (a 17 year old Jeep that really needs a tub off restoration, axle, and engine rebuild to be reliable). I had a very bad feeling, call it paranoia that this wasn't a coincidental pattern with my car. Too many problems. Too many weeks at the dealership. It was enough to diminish my enjoyment of the car to make me realize that I just wouldn't enjoy it long term.

That being said: Thank you all for the great times, and friendship. I know I wasn't the most active member of this club. Maybe made it to a few nice'n easy meetups, and sylvan beach once or twice per summer. But I truly enjoyed meeting all of you, seeing the beautiful cars that you built and customized. Talking about future mods, past vehicles, and generally just getting to know you all. I'm sad to leave the Camaro lifestyle behind for now, but it was the right move for me.

I will stay in touch, maybe bring my new wheels out to the beach or nice n easy.

Speaking of which....

This is my new toy 2014 JK Wrangler Willys edition, lifted and sitting on 35"s. Have a few more mods planned for this before all is said and done.

It's not a Camaro, but I've been a Jeep guy since I was 17. So while I'm sad to see my car go, I am thrilled with this Jeep.

Thanks again everyone. I'll still pop in on the forums on occasion, and if you need to find me, Ron, Spike, Eric, Joe, Kevin, and Andy have my number

Nice Jeep, hope it treats you better then the Camaro did. If I had all those issues with a car I probably wouldn't want to keep it either.

Good luck in your endeavors George! I will probably see you at the beach once in a while if you still go, I'm thankful my camaro hasn't had any such problems (knock on wood)! Probably because I bought 7 years of warranty lol
