It can get tight sometimes for me lol... but I just use one of those things that enhance grip to open jars.

I tried that with 2 people and a rubber chain pipe pliers. It isn't moving. Gonna have to take it off and work on it in a vice.

I just let my unit cool down completely and with a little effort I was able to unscrew it. If it isn't loosening when completely cold then good luck with the vise.

yeah, the best time to open it up is after its sat overnight, usually comes right off. I'm going to have to remember to empty it before my track day next week lol

Glad you are happy with it.

The #1 thing you can do to prevent having problems unscrewing the bottom is to not try to tighten it down. As soon as it stops, stop twisting. It is machined to very tight tolerances.

My catch-can was 3/4 full when I checked it today. I've put around 2,500 miles on it since the last time I emptied it. This crap would've been blown all through my intake manifold.
