Yea it is on and actively searching. I cant seem to find it. Do i have to start the search in my car or does it just detect the signal and ask to join?

Also, you can just check for the USB, and, 1/8" line-in connectors in the center-console storage area. That is part of the PDIM (linked above).

The link that you posted in your first post is what you need if you don't have the connectors in the center console. I believe you also need to get the radio reprogrammed to see it.

This is a mystery!

Maybe the PDIM was added, but, the radio was not reprogrammed for it?

So, you have a USB connector? It looks like all cars had a 1/8" phono connector.

If you have a 1LT with the C&C package, 2LT, or 2SS you have the PDIM module
That was taken from this thread.

Do you have the audio controls on the steering-wheel? That is part of the C&C/2-level cars package.

We're making progress!

No steering-wheel controls means that you don't have the C&C package from the factory, but, USB is only on cars with the PDIM, so, it seems that you have the hardware. I'm thinking that the radio was not updated after the PDIM install.

You can get the radio reprogrammed, or, just add a Bluetooth adapter like this one to connect to the line-in...

http://www.amazon.com/Streambot-Wireless-Bluetooth-Streaming-Receiver/dp/B00MJMV0GU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1418267620&sr=8-2&keywords=bluetooth+receiver

No endorsement, just found it in a quick search.

So just go do a dealer and tell them I need the radio updated for the PDIM and they will know what I'm talking about

Turn out that USB port in my center console was just a plug for charging in the center console when I pulled my USB out it ca me out leaving a socket... so I guess I'll just buy the parts
