I sort of doubt we will see a Z28 at all. Seems like they struggled to sell the 2015 models, and that makes me wonder if they will release them again. I think maybe they will do it as a 1 year only option.

The packages they released at the SEMA show I think are a bit of foreshadowing in to what we can expect in the future for the Camaro. I think we will see fewer different models, but more packages that can be added as options.

Ceramic brakes, Aero Packages, Suspension upgrades, etc as options.

I personally think it costs GM less to build a Z/28 than a ZL1 but they knew it was going to be a niche car with a small following so they had to put a premium price on it to recover development costs. They achieved their goals... it was the 2014 best drivers car in one mag and basically shamed all cars that cost 50% more when lapping a road course. Creature comforts don't help on the track and for that reason they were omitted... and for that reason not that many models will sell. Most of us like fast cars but also drive on the highway where some extra weight for creature comforts is accepted.

I got to be honest I could car less what they call it as long as it delivers the perfromance.

what I wanted was more of a 1le with an ls7 called the a Z28 for 48-50k. what they built was the Zl1 which was a bit more than I wanted to spend and Z28 which was more than I would spend.

they can call it what ever they want as long is it's 3800lbs with the LT4 ha ha. vengence hit 680whp with cai, tune, pulley, headers on the Z06.

that is 10seconds all day every day I would think for 1 days labor.

What I think everyone is missing is look at who we have in office and if we don’t get them out the auto makers can’t do anything. We can dream and pray all we want but if the government doesn’t let them they will not be able to build them.The ones we elected are making it harder and harder to have the freedoms to pick and choose. They want us all driving mini vans. Sorry to burst your bubble

I don't think they can wait that long. By the time the C6 comes out, the Hellcat will be out for year and the GT350 will be available, too. There will be a bunch of lost sales if it's still 2 -3 years away from today.

It's all about marketing. If they had of offered the ZL1 in 2009 I would still be driving my '2010 ZL1' @$60k instead of dropping close to $100k total on a 2010 SS and then a 2013 ZL1.
