Yes you definitely will not be disappointed. Quick thing you can do also is go to the NightOwl site and watch the 3 how to videos. They will show you some basics on running the app, white color correction, running programs, etc. Then once you have your lights wired into your modules, load up the app, set up your system and start playing around with it. My daughter and I did what is in the video in just a couple of minutes after I got the car home from the install shop.

Quick question, I ordered and there was nothing about an app to download, when should do I download it?

You can download it now, however your going to need to wait to get your kit before you can set it up (need the # on the master module).

But if you still want to keep it simple just get the key FOB. You can set it up to do 4 presets. Then just press a button, like you did on your other system.

Then you can take your time learning the rest of the fun stuff when you want to.

EDIT, I believe the FOB comes with every kit, since its paired with the master.

I was think of getting the key fob but it's like 40$ extra and it's only 4 presets like you mentioned. I'll learn it, or ask for help again!
