I meant for when you post a joke save the jpg. so you don't have to explain it like i am doing know when someone doesn't get it then its not even funny and it ruins the joke.

That sucks. My 4th gen Z28 had the hell scratched out of passenger side at work, just lucky i hadn't drove the SS that day. The offender was a homeless guy who had lost most of his marbles. Not much could be done with him. He also got half dozen more cars in our lot that day. My son still wants the car and wanted to find the guy and make sure his arms never worked to do anything like this ever again.

$10 says they were copying what they've been seeing on TV lately. Not making what they did right.

Animals destroying other people's property, with little or no consequences. Then others coming on TV defending their actions saying they're just expressing their frustrations.

Shitty or no parenting I'm sure played a big role as well.

Now you can side with whichever of these two you wish, but as someone else said in here... if you side with #1, then if your wife misbehaves, do you think a spanking should be the proper corrective action to put her back in her place? I mean, it can't only work just for kids, right?

Nuff said.
That's like comparing apples and space rockets

The 2 lines of thinking are, spanking is necessary while growing up to teach right and wrong and that there are consequences for actions. There are others that think there are better ways of handling this.

And I don't think either side is 100% correct. Does spanking help keep a lot of kids in line and bring up well adjusted kids who don't act up? Yes. Does it also create a mindset with a certain few that corporal punishment is the only way to handle things when someone acts up? Yes.

Those that look at a situation and only see one extreme or the other without realizing that in 99% of cases the answer lies somewhere directly in the middle are the reason this country is so screwed up right now. There's either your way or the wrong way, and its playing out very nicely in this thread.

Sure. If the woman is trying to stab me with a butcher knife or a pitbull is gnawing on my arm am I allowed to fight back?

There are cases where anything can be justified. I don't think a 100% rule exists in nature.

Seriously though, insurance should cover that.

It's actually more like this;

1. Those who think spanking is child abuse and that talking to your kids will always solve the problem.

2. Those who noticed that the kid’s family is more than likely the root cause of the problem due to not properly disciplining their children which may involve talking to them, time out and or spanking.

I already said I got plenty of spankings and I deserved every one of them. With that said I never had to spank my kids. Time outs and warnings seemed to work with them but would it have work for me.....nope, the ass busting worked though.

Every kid is different.

Does it mean that spanking will always work? Nope, but that is why we have detention centers. Once everything else has failed. Whether they are child or adult you put them someplace where they can no longer harm anyone else or their property until they "get it".

Someone did say they would kill those kids but I'm sure they didn't mean it literally. I hope not anyway....
