Also, look at your pads... the newer OEM pads have weights attached to them to help stop the squealing. If you still have the pads that came from the factory, you may not have the additional weights.

That said, I didn't have much squealing from my original pads but when I did, a couple hard stops got rid of it.

(just had my front pads replaced for the first time, last week)

2013 SS....with 5k on the car. Yes they do under light braking. I will have to read this thread again to see if the dealer can pin point or repair.

Mine make some noise at very slow speeds/light braking -- such as beginning to pull out of my parking space. But, I wouldn't call it a squeal -- sounds deeper, more like a grunt. Only ever heard that sound on a uHaul before...anyone know if that sounds familiar?

My brakes on my 2011 2SS/RS squeal when slowing down for a stop at about 15 mph or lower about 25% of the time. I have Hawk HPS pads for DD and track. I'm glad I'm not the only one. I like to annoy the neighborhood kids by doing it on purpose when all climate conditions are correct.
