I would never call my ZL1 a Cadillac, if has 30 more hp that the CTSV. And I don't think the CTSV has magnetic ride control ether, or the bad ass sounding NPP exhaust.
As does the Z28 that got a former Corvette power plant. He has no appreciation for the heritage of the Camaro. The 1967-1969 Camaro's are why were even here.

All those things are true. You don't get it, but it's what we see when we look at the car. Of course you don't see it, your byline is "6th Gen Rules" so you obviously like the styling. I admit, technologically, it's a great car... I just wish they'd done the body differently. Of course I am one of the few that really likes the interior of the 5th gen, so I'm probably in the minority on the styling too.

I will say though, not as dated as the gen 5 car made the gen 4 car look. But there was a large separation in time too. Hard to compare.
Was poking fun at myself. Should have included a smiley to make that clear. Dated and unrefined defines me.

Was one of the selling points in my world. I really liked the call back to the interior styling of the chevys I rode in as a kid.

My camaro is in many ways a nostalgia trip for me. It evokes a lot of the things I thought were cool when I was a kid. For reference, was born in '70.

Don't get me wrong, love the bleeding edge modern aesthetic too. Just not the vibe I'm going for in this car.

I love the looks of my 15 1LE, but I think the 16 is also a great looking vehicle...albeit a little softer.

I personally prefer the look of my 15 and that's all it is...my preference. I only bought it 3 months ago, so I could have waited, but I didn't.

I think the big difference is that my Camaro is my summer toy. If it were to be my daily driver, I'd probably have waited for the 16. It has all the interior creature comforts that make commuting so much easier...and MRC for the daily bump and grind would also be nice.

But its the simplicity of the 15 interior and the strong lines of the exterior that I love. It's unrefined, raw, loud, and perfect...but that's not what's going to please the masses and pay GM's bills. I think the 16 is going to do exactly what GM wants it to do...get many, many more people driving Camaros.

I think people fail to see that the younger generation is coming up and the older people mean that much less to people that want to sell things. I'm sorry but its true. It's getting to the point where people just won't buy sports cars because it's physically impossible for them to want to go through the trouble. Sure, on this forum we won't have those people voice their opinions but still...the youth wants something different most of the time.

True many of todays youth seem only interested in phones and social media. They are the reason the driverless car could succede. They seem more content with thier heads burried in the phone on a road trip than looking around and taking in life.

I drive to escape and explore..... the kid will not go if there is no 4G signal at the destination. Pretty sad really. They seem so tied into what everyone is doing when I could care less. I say get a cool car, whatever that is before there are no more to be had. Look around on your daily drive, how many cars do you even see that you would consider owning?

Yeah, I really wish they didn't change the look of the car. I would have been happy with a serious weight reduction and interior upgrade. Other than that, the car was perfect!

That's kinda is what they did. This is really a Gen 5 with a facelift, a little lipo from the hips and a leather skirt.

Why all the 6th gen hate? Who cares.....

Let the next gen camaro have its day in the sunlight. ....we did.

Time will tell if it turns out go be a better ride performance or looks wise. No amount of C5 chatter will change the outcome.

I think its nice but not compelling enough to trade my paid for 2013 in on... I may get flamed but style wise I may prefer the new Mustangs to it. But I doubt I would ever buy one either though...

But I know my car looks a lot better in person than it does in photos so I imagine the 6gen will be the same when I see it.

If you spend any time on Camaro6, you can see a lot of different characters over there. I look forward to seeing the car in person.
