We don't even know if the Z28 exists. The existence of a Z28 in the first place is a rumor. It shouldn't matter anyway. The V8 Camaro will have 400 horses and devour everyone on the street within reason. The Z28 badge won't make it any faster or better. It is just a badge.
Moreover, any speculation about the horsepower about a Camaro that isn't known to exist at all is preposterous. Don't believe anything about horsepower ratings for a car that hasn't been confirmed by GM.

Chris Doane....I recognise that name......................
Ah, yes. He was the one responsible for the removal of certain worthless images from a certain site that has a '5' in it................. I apologize to him if he reads this, but I raise the biggest flag I have in stock and shun him for stating such things as a definite truth. I'll believe Scott over ANY reporter any day, and Scott has already debunked this rumor. So, in the meantime, I'll merge this in here...wait for any word from scott contradicting what I said, and hope these stories stop coming out. |

I think that some of the rumors are from GM directly, but I'm beginning to think that the public is just very excited about the Camaro. This will be a very successful machine.

Ah Leftlane News. Two days late and a kernel of truth short as always. They're good for a laugh if you don't take them seriously. No worries, no worries.

Anyway...several people who *work on the program* seem to think the Z/28 is no more. *shrug* |

Several unnamed people who "think" vs one named person in fully defined authority who "knows". Hmm. This a tough one to choose...

Everyone on this site really does owe Fbodfather a drink. Thanks for doing such a great job keeping us in suspense when we should be, calming us down when we need it, and all the while not spilling the beans.

A much bigger problem is convincing the wife we need to buy TWO Camaros instead of just one. I mean how hard can it be to put a screaming 3 year old into the back of a 2 door car. *SAVE THE CAMARO: One is awesome, two is better!* |
