First, you need to buy the plastic ABL door panels, they are smooth to the touch, not textured. Then, search a couple of vendors on here like 2SSRS and SJM, that sell the ABL, DIY retrofit kits.

DIY instructions to remove: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=65282

Basically, you need to sand the area under/near the whole length of the ABL tube, PLUS remove that tape at the front.

I can help you once you remove the door panel.
Thanks. Will give it some time to make sure there aren't any more serious issues with my car and will look to do this down the road some.

I have the 2015 ComEd as well. I do like the ambient light strips on the doors but I wish they were brighter. They should have made the light intensity adjustable.

Can you even see the lighting?

It is adjustable.

The light intensity is adjusted using the same switch used for the rest of the instrument cluster and HU lighting. They all adjust in unison using the dash toggle switch, and yes this includes the door abl.

In your case, it's most likely so dim, you won't even notice it getting dimmer or brighter, because in the brightest setting, it's still dim, lol.

As previously stated, it is practically non-existant because of the Ashen Gray Metallic panels.

Technically, it's non-existent because of the over spray, not because of the colour itself.

Look at my pics above. A lil sanding goes a long way when it comes to overspray.

Sure! Name your price and what's for supper?

Gluten Free, Organic, and Non-GMO please, and for the meat, free range. I'm a picky one unfortunately.

It doesn't make sense that the dealership can't fix it. I have a 2015 2SS and my lighting looks exactly like it does in the video. Mine's a Spring Edition, but that shouldn't matter.

You don't have the ashen gray metallic panels. They are apparently the only ones that block out the accent lights.
